Bye Bye Basel

Our time in Basel has come to an end. Tomorrow morning we are leaving on a jet plane destination Norwalk, Connecticut. Our new home and life has been waiting there for over 2 months, but we are finally at a stage where we are ready. Suitcases are packed, tickets booked and in the midst of things a sad feeling of leaving a great place with wonderful people.

It is no secret that we have loved living here, in spite of the challenges we have faced – individually and as a couple we have enjoyed every minute of our time here.

In the following we’ll remember some of the moments, showing you some of the images that we have published over the almost 3 years we have lived here.
During the time we’ve been citizens of Switzerland we’ve uploaded more than 400 posts and 1400 images. We have tried our best to give you a glimpse of our life – good and bad – and we’ll try our hardest to continue this in the future. The blog will go on, there will be more and more posts in English but we hope you’ll all continue to keep us company.
Thanks to everyone who have contributed to our stay here, thanks to all of you who have followed our life from a digital distance. We’ll see you on the other side! (of the Atlantic).
